How it keeps your alarm & video monitoring service working at all times

The main feature of the WRP400 is its auto failover and recovery of the Ethernet WAN connection, when used with a 3G USB Mobile Broadband Modem (sold separately). The device will intelligently use whichever network is available and seamlessly switch between them when necessary. All other IP solutions may be able to switch to 2G cellular backup networks for alarm signals but their IP cameras have no way of sending images to the Monitoring Center. The WRP400 is ideal for applications where the video that accompanies an alarm signal is seen as being equally important to the overall security of the protected premises.

WRP400 Features

When our custom alarm monitoring settings are downloaded into one of the built-in phone ports, the WRP400 allows for the most cost effective method of dual path alarm and IP camera monitoring worldwide. Unlike every other dual path solution on the market, there is no requirement for any additional security equipment hardware. The WRP400 device has everything you require already built in !

A robust firewall helps protect your security equipment and local IP devices from malicious attacks by outside intruders. UL, CE, and EN certification are proof of the safe, high quality manufacturing standard of the WRP400.

This is an ideal solution where your Customer requires a backup cellular Internet connection as an integral part of their business continuity plan. As far as alarm monitoring service goes, the cellular 3G backup path is already paid for and available, so there are no additional costs for you to provide cellular backup. This is not the case with 2G platforms like Connect 24, Alarmnet-GSM and others.

Branding the Product

As with most "off the shelf" Linksys devices, your company has the option of replacing the stickers on the plastic case with your own stickers or removing the printed circuit board entirely from the plastic case and promoting the device as a PCB Only product that can be installed neatly inside the alarm control panel.
