Grandstream VoIP equipment Settings
Grandstream Networks Inc
A privately held company with over 400 employees worldwide, Grandstream is a leading manufacturer of IP voice/video telephony and video surveillance solutions. They have corporate offices in Boston, Dallas and Los Angeles in the USA, Shenzhen and Hangzhou in China and Casablanca in Morocco. Grandstream provide IP Alarms with competitive advantages such as unrivaled leadership in price-to-performance ratio plus zero-configuration plug-and-play technology for easy deployment.
HT502, HT503, HT701
IP Alarms have developed custom firmware for the Grandstream range of analog terminal adapters (VoIP ATA's) and the HT701 is the model of choice for the majority of our Customers. Not only is it small in size, but it requires zero configuration. All you need to do is power it up and it will find it's own way to the IP Alarms server to download our custom IPtoPOTS firmware.
When you factor in the US$29 price tag, the Grandstream HT701 really is tough to beat when you have a large number of alarm systems to migrate away from PSTN/POTS or 2G.
Pulse Dialing Support
One big advantage that the Grandstream devices have over others is that they support Pulse Dialing (also known as decadic or rotary dialing). This is essential for upgrading very old panels that communicate in formats like 4+2.
