Verified Response Component
IP Alarms provide a suite of software components called the IP Suite. It allows Monitoring Centers
to receive alarm signals over the Internet from a range of IP & Cellular alarm communicators.
Verified Response is one of the components and it is responsible for managing IP cameras and
controlling how they are triggered when an alarm signal arrives at the server.
Each remote IP or Cellular communication device has a record (account) in the IP Suite database
and you can link any number of IP cameras to that account. When an event is received from a client
device, a check is made to find out if there are any IP cameras linked to the account. If there are,
the cameras can be recorded according to the settings entered into the IP Camera management component.
All images are written into folders on hard drives within your Monitoring Center network and you
have full control over which folders and drives are used. You can also control the names of the image
files so that they are more readily available for viewing within your automation software.
Virtual Monitoring Platform
Virtual Monitoring is a fully automated Alarm and IP Camera monitoring platform that runs on a
server managed by IP Alarms. It is ideal for companies that want to provide live view for their
subscribers, but do not want the hassle of maintaining a web server.
It can be used by your company for video verification and we provide single-click access into
the platform via a standard web browser. If your company policy does not allow operators to use
Internet browsers then you would be better suited to the Verified Response component.
