SPG804 - Dualpath IP / GPRS Communicator

The SPG804 is a combined IP/GPRS device that adds a dualpath product to IP Alarms range of Monitoring Solutions.

ANSI/SIA DC-09-2007

IP Alarms are keen on standards compliance and integration between the hardware client device and the server software followed the ANSI/SIA DC-09-2007 Digital Communication Standard for Internet Protocol Event Reporting.

When an alarm panel and SPG804 is triggered, signals are sent over IP into the IP Alarms Virtual Receiver. If the client premises Internet connection fails, signals are instead sent over the GPRS network and into the Virtual Receiver.

Inovonics Wireless Equipment

The SPG804 has the ability to interface with the EE4000 RF receiver from Inovonics. This in effect turns the SPG804 into an 8 zone wireless alarm panel with built-in IP & GPRS communication paths. Inovonics manufactures various models of PIR motion detectors, door & window switches, breakglass and smoke detectors along with many types of wireless pendants.
