Problem with VoIP and Alarm Systems

It is common knowledge that alarm signals do not transmit reliably over the network of a VoIP service provider. IP Alarms are the market leader in overcoming this issue and our Linksys Alarm Monitoring solution is used in some of the largest Alarm Monitoring Centers in USA. This is all well and good if your alarm system is connected to one of the Central Stations that support our solution, but if you happen to be with a Monitoring Center that does not support it and you are perfectly happy with their service, we can provide you with an alternative solution called IP to POTS.

With the use of a custom provisioned "off the shelf" Linksys VoIP adapter, your alarm panel can send alarm signals reliably over the Internet into our Data Center where they are then forwarded over a regular POTS landline into the alarm receiver at your existing Central Station. The Central Station are non the wiser as the signal goes through their alarm receiver as normal. The up-side is that you get to disconnect your landline phone service and make huge savings by migrating to VoIP.
