GPRS Wireless Products

Sometimes a DSL or cable internet connection is simply not possible and this is where our GPRS products come into their own.

GPRS Alarm

The onboard Wavecom GPRS modem transports AES encrypted alarm signals to the server in 2-5 seconds. A five minute supervision interval is possible on a 1 mByte per Month data plan.

Full End-Unit status report on each Supervision signal, including I/O status, Power & Battery status, and GSM Received Signal Strength (RSSI) at the End-Unit.

Full Upload/Download of all Parameters and Status Request Report - over the GPRS channel.

8 individually programmable Inputs

Remote Control of End-Unit outputs via the GPRS channel.

Contact ID Dialer Capture.

Diginet IP Communicator Diginet

Features that are unique to the Diginet IP board make it our most advanced product to date. Its ability to traverse even the most awkward NAT networks without a requirement for port forwarding provides for seamless integration of ANY alarm control panel and the vast majority of IP Cameras. Connection to our 804G GPRS board provides a robust dual path solution with both paths fully supervised. The DigiNet can also connect to the panel RS232 serial port and supports 2-way communication where available. It has 16 digital outputs and add-on relay boards are available that allow the Monitoring Center or end user to remotely control ancillary devices. Special interface software is provided to configure the board via a serial port.

Verifier GSM Alarm Dialer

The Verifier GSM is a device that allows an alarm panel to communicate directly with a conventional POTS based alarm receiver at the Monitoring Center over the Cellular GSM Network. It is generally used as a secondary backup device for alarm monitoring, however, it can just as easily be used with voice dialers or panels that support Residential Dial. It is alarm protocol independent and will transmit whatever comes out of your alarm panel.

Cellular Alarm There is no recurring fee for this device and the only ongoing cost is that charged by the GSM network provider of your choice for their SIM card. As far as a conventional alarm receiver is concerned, it does not know the difference between an alarm signal sent over a landline and one sent from the Verifier GSM Alarm Dialer over the Cellular network. Simply plug the alarm panel, alarm dialer or digital communicator into the first RJ11 socket on the Verifier for a single path solution. If you require a dual path solution, connect the second RJ11 to a landline or IP adapter like the Diginet or Linksys. If the POTS line or IP network is available, it will be used to transmit alarms. If the landline is cut or the Internet connection lost, alarms from the panel will be sent via the GSM network. Two way voice is supported for audio confirmation of security alarms and for medical monitoring.
