Client Manager

The Client Manager provides a simple user interface to allow maintenance of the database of monitored clients.

You have the ability to override any account code transmitted by the alarm panel. For example, if the alarm panel is programmed with an account code of 1234 and cannot be changed for some reason, if you enter 5678 into the Override Code, any signals sent to automation from the client will appear as though they came from account number 5678.

Alarm Signal Branching

Client Manager provides options for you to write signals into the automation queue, the Virtual Monitoring queue or both. Signals that go into the automation queue are sent to your automation software via the Automation Link component and signals that go into the Virtual Monitoring queue are sent to the Virtual Monitoring server by the QueueToVM component.

If a client subscribes to the Virtual Monitoring Platform as an add-on to conventional operator monitoring, a separate account is created within platform and all settings are controlled directly through the platform web interface by the subscriber. These settings are not linked in any way to the settings in your automation.
