Automation Software Link

The Automation Link component checks the IP Suite database for incoming signals and forwards them to the automation software via the serial port, or via TCPIP. The software emulates a Surgard receiver and your automation software receiver module will recognise it as such.

A connection can be made via both TCP and serial at the same time. Signals will be sent via TCP if available with automatic fallback to serial

Receiver & Line Numbers

Each remote device has an associated Client record in the IP Suite database. This record stores a receiver and line number on an individual client basis and this data is sent along with the alarm signal to your automation software.

The Client record also stores a DNIS on an individual client basis which can be sent to automation instead of a receiver and line number.
