If you have ADT Alarm Monitoring service and have moved, or want to move to VoIP service, then you have two options available to you - depending on whether or not you are happy with your service from ADT and whether or not not you are under contract with them.

If you not happy with your ADT service and you are not under contract, then the easiest option is to move your monitoring service to a Central Station that supports the IP Alarms Linksys Alarm Monitoring Solution. They will be able to monitor either your existing ADT system or any replacement system over the Internet using a regular, low cost "off the shelf" Linksys VoIP device. If you have one already, and you have a spare line port - you can use it without incurring any additional equipment costs. If you are happy with your service, or you are under a long term contract with ADT, then we can make your alarm panel send signals reliably to the ADT monitoring center over the Internet. Actually, only the first half of the call goes over the Internet to our data center. The second part of the call goes over regular POTS landline into the alarm receiver at ADT - just as it does right now. The regular "off the shelf" Linksys device that we use to do this will even allow your cellular backup device to function without change.
